Born in Melbourne, Australia, Ms Mallia studied Commerce at the Australian National University. After graduating she worked for 8 years with the Australian Airline, Qantas. As a finance analyst, Ms Mallia managed the day to day liquidity position of the airline. Later as a project manager, she was responsible for the development and implementation of new inflight products.
In 2009, Ms Mallia moved to Berlin and since 2011 leads a liquidity risk team at the Deutsche Bank Risk Centre GmBH. An effective leadership style is as critical in this role as optimisation of time management and open communication with all key stakeholders. She has consolidated her practical experience through various training courses in the area of project and change management, communication and interview techniques.
During her time with Qantas, Ms Mallia regularly carried out cabin crew training sessions. In 2007 she also completed a certificate in training and assessment.
As a native speaker, Ms Mallia conducts her training in English.
