Dr. Anusheh Rafi, born in 1973, is a trainer, mediator and consultant in the Gartner-Steffen Training and Development Team. Since 2005 he has been working as a lawyer and after completing a one year mediation training he has also gained experience in mediation and intercultural conflict resolution. As such, he is a certified mediator and additionally a management board member of the Bundesverband MEDIATION e.V (Federal Mediation Association).
Dr. Rafi has extensive experience in group leadership, communication and rhetoric, having taught courses in these fields since 1992. In addition to his work as a lawyer, mediator and personal coach he holds a professorship for civil law at the Evangelische Fachhochschule Berlin (college of higher education) and is a lecturer for the “Juristische Repetitoren Heimann&Ritter“ and several additional colleges of higher education. From 1999 till 2002 he wrote his Ph.D. at the Max-Planck-Institute for European History of Law.
Apart from Germany, he has lived in the U.S. (Denison, Texas), Greece (Thessaloniki) and France (Paris). He is an active member in several associations such as the Bundesverband MEDIATION e.V (Federal Mediation Association) or the Lawyers for Development and Association e.V.
His training focuses are: team building processes, personal development, handling and resolution of inhouse conflicts, training of trainers.
